assessment & audit
Federal and
State programs that pharmaceutical companies participate in
will continue to expand and change over the next few years, and it is
certain that there will be increased scrutiny and audits as the OIG,
DOJ and State focus on the integrity of the programs. Companies are
keenly aware that they must ensure ongoing compliance with the
Programs, and be "audit ready" in the event of an internal or external
audit or investigation.
maintaining gp
compliance
CIS has developed a unique and proprietary approach
to assessment and audit. Our experience in working across all sizes and
types of organizations, and with the agencies that manage the programs,
has given us a unique perspective. We can help you develop a manageable
approach to risk evaluation and management, and assist you in
developing a risk management plan and Government Programs (GP)
Compliance Roadmap so that you have a clear and documented plan in
place.
gp assessment
CIS offers Assessment services that provide a high
level evaluation to ascertain your company's current level of GP
Compliance and develop a compliance roadmap to help guide efforts to
maintain and enhance GP Compliance. The GP Assessment is a good
starting point for a company that may not have all of the
methodologies, documentation, processes and systems in place that they
need to be fully audit ready.
GP Audit
We approach an audit from the government's view of
risk, evaluating clients with respect to what enforcement agencies
would look at in the event of an audit or investigation. We believe
that there should be alignment between methodology, policy and
procedure documentation and systems, and that an audit should be an
evaluation of whether documentation is complete and current, and
whether people, processes, data and systems are aligned to documented
processes.
